We are proud to communicate that Wageningen University and Research selected Quantified sensors for data acquisition in the 4th edition of the Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge!
In this Challenge, the sensors will be used to collect a vast amount of climate and soil data as input for the AI models of greenhouse and crops. The FireFly – Poseidon sensors enable wireless sensing of soil moisture, -EC and -temperature together with localized climate parameters. The technology was validated within the EIP-AGRI project “Nursery Stock Growing Support System”, in collaboration with the Landwirtschaftskammer Nordrhein-Westfalen and Wageningen University and Research.
Quantified Sensor Technology has a wide range of wireless sensors available and is continuously adding new sensors to its portfolio, latests addidtions are a wireless young plant trays scale and pointed leaf sensor.

In daily cultivation, reliable data plays a central role in understanding greenhouse conditions and enabling timely decisions. For Erwin de Bruijn, Cultivation Manager at Bosch Growers, Quantified has become an integral part of his daily routine.
Quantified Sensor Technology’s wireless sensor systems can now be directly integrated with Priva One, one of the most widely used climate computer platforms. The announcement allows growers worldwide to seamlessly enrich their Priva environments with detailed, real-time data on microclimate and substrate conditions, ultimately saving time, water, nutrients, and labour.
During a visit to Koppert Cress’ production site in Monster, The Netherlands, we spoke with Bart van Meurs about Quantified sensors in both production and research.
